L.R. Moroni - Cellulose Converting Machines

The Italian company specializes in the design and production of lines for the production of sanitary napkins.

Present in Cuba since 1994, it has expanded its presence in the Caribbean country to become the first Italian company present in the Mariel Special Development Zone (ZEDM), one of the main projects of the Cuban industry.

In the ZEDM they are present through the joint venture Industria Arthis, constituted in 2017 together with the Cuban company Nexus, belonging to the Grupo Empresarial de la Industria Ligera (Gempil), for the production of disposable diapers.

Roberto Hernández, technical specialist of the company’s branch in Cuba, told TTC that L.R. Moroni will contribute in this project the technology for the production of diapers for children and adults.

L.R. Moroni began his collaboration with Cuba in alliance with the company Mathisa for economic modernization.
